SOUTHERN ALL-STARS GEORGIA RUMBLE 40 THIS SATURDAY NOW PAYING $5000 TO WIN

Cochran Motor Speedway owner/promoter Chris Martin has stepped up to the plate once again as he has announced he will raise the purse for this weekend’s Southern All-Star Super Late Model Georgia Rumble 40 to pay $5,000 to win!  This will also coincide with a special event for the 602 Late Model Sportsman race that will pay $5,000 to win; a Bomber feature winner’s purse of $2,000 to win and a payday of $1,200 to the feature victor in the Modifieds.

“We love our racers and want to show them our support,” said Martin.  “Our track schedule has been decimated by weather this season.  We want to show the drivers that we are still here and support them all the way.”

The show will also include racing in the Chargers/Beginner division, the Junior Crown Vics and Pro Crown Vics.

The Championship is at stake between Southern All Stars competitors Billy Franklin and Matt Dooley.  The two rivals are expected to lead the parade of Super Late Model competitors venturing into the 3/8ths mile speed plant to chase the $5000 pay day.
